Burma: December 2005 and May 2006
I visited Burma twice while I was working elsewhere in southeast Asia during the 2005-06 academic year. The friendliness of the people was tremendous, and many of the conversations I had there were transformative; ask me to tell you stories -- they're far more interesting than the pictures. But for now, here are the pictures. I when I look at the pictures again, I realize that yes, I like them too.
