While living in London in the Fall of 2013, I traveled to Scotland and Wales. It was wonderful to be able to travel so easily to other parts of the UK -- to be able to get on a train after work in London and be in Wales by mid-evening... and walking up the highest mountain in the region the next day... yes, I liked that. And I liked the landscapes of Scotland and Wales, the old stone buildings in the towns, the dramatic light after storms cleared, long walks through windswept landscapes, all of it, all of it. I wish I could have stayed longer. I'll go back one day.
